Staterooms

Having two babies that both needed Pack n' Plays made choosing a Stateroom the most difficult task possible and a half an hour conversation with a Disney Representative who was very helpful and plesent. We chose a Category 4: Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom w/ Verandah. They removed the sofa, placed one there and the other one by the verandah door. They brought in another chair, so there would still be at least two chairs to watch TV. We have also done Category 1-3, which all sleep 5-7 sleepers, and they just remove the beds. They are just so accomodating for young families, but you have to talk to them directly.

Category 4 - Deluxe Family Oceanview w/ Verandah

Picture
  • Sleeps: 5
  • Size: 304 sq. ft. including verandah
  • Room: Queen-size bed or 2 twin beds, single convertible sofa, wall pull-down bed and upper berth pull-down bed, split bath with tub and shower
  • View: Private verandah
These staterooms are referred to as "Deluxe Family Staterooms." They will sleep up to 5 people and contain one bathroom, the shower and toilet area conveniently separated. They are spacious and comfortable, possibly one of the best options for a family that plans to spend equal time in their room and around the ship.

The only difference between a category 4 stateroom and a category 5 is about 30 square feet at the end of the cabin, just before the verandah. In this extra space is a twin murphy bed that pulls down from the wall.
